Amy - Senior Director, Operations

Hey there, I am Amy. I am the Director of Operations here at Panorama Summit Orthopedics. I grew up in CT and England, went to college in Tampa (GO BUCS!) then spent some time playing/working in the Caribbean Islands, Florida and Vermont. I eventually made my way out to Breckenridge 21 years ago just to ski. Just to ski turned into tearing my ACL and having surgery. Season was over. During recovery I got a part time job at Steadman – Hawkins answering phones and scheduling apts. I was promoted throughout my tenure of 15 + years at the now Steadman Clinic. I have been with Panorama Summit Orthopedics since their inception in Summit County in 2018. We are an orthopedic practice that also specializes in customer service and our community.

My husband, who I met in Breckenridge have been married for 16 years. We live in Breckenridge and have 2 awesome daughters, a dog and 2 hamsters. We love to play outside participating in all the activities our community has to offer.

Jacqueline - Care Coordinator/ Workman Compensation

My name is Jacqui and I moved to Summit County in 1996 from PA.  In my free time I enjoy road biking, skiing, hiking & kayaking.  I also enjoy spending time with my husband Mike enjoying this beautiful place we get to call home!

Richard - Athletic Trainer, Clinic Coordinator & Surgical Assist

Hi, I’m Rich!  I received my undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from the University of Cincinnati. As an undergrad, I completed two seasonal internships with the Cincinnati Bengals. Upon graduation from the University of Cincinnati, I worked as a certified athletic trainer fellow for the Denver Broncos and went on to be a part of the Super Bowl 50 championship team. Following my fellowship with the Denver Broncos, I worked as a certified athletic trainer and practice manager at Steadman Clinic and Vail-Summit Orthopedics. Now I work as a Clinical Coordinator for Dr. Rita Baumgartner and schedule surgeries for both Dr. Baumgartner and Dr. Black. I am also a board-certified orthopaedic technologist and licensed surgical assistant. In my free time I enjoy golfing, skiing, hiking, rafting, volunteering for the US Ski and Snowboard Association, and spending time with my dog, Benji.

Kathrina - Radiologic Technologist

Hi. I’m Kat and I have been an Xray tech with Panorama since 2020. I graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in Denver in 2015 with an associates in radiologic sciences. I was able to land a job in Summit County upon graduating and have lived here ever since. I absolutely love working in ortho and ortho trauma. My favorite part of my job is seeing patients improve and get back to being active again. In my free time, you can find me outside on my bike or snowboard depending on what season it is. I have a dog named Canyon, who is 4 years old and comes on all the adventures he can with me.

Sarah - Radiology Manager

My name is Sarah and I have been in Summit County for 11 years. I have been an x-ray tech with Panorama Summit Orthopedics for 3 years, wahoo! I am originally from Asheville, North Carolina, but spent a large chunk of time living in Idaho before landing in Colorado in search of bigger mountains.

My original degree is in Recreation Management (i.e., playing outside), but I always had an interest in healthcare which is what landed me in Radiology. Most of my free time is spent adventuring with my awesome husband, chasing our little person or our four year old forever puppy, and doing all the things Summit County has to offer! Riding bikes is my sport of choice, but an early morning skin and Nordic skiing are what keep me happy and sane in the winters!

Tara - Physician Assistant

My name is Tara and I’m a PA at Panorama Summit Ortho. I enjoy traveling to new places, most recently new ski resorts across Colorado and the county. I’ve worked at Panorama now for 1 year after working in Denver for a few years prior. I am originally from Philadelphia and moved out to Colorado in 2017. What I love most about Summit County is the small community feel, the amazing accessibility to play in the mountains and no longer having to drive on i-70! In the winter I snowboard and in the summers I mountain bike. Orthopedics has always interested me since PA school because I enjoy getting people back into the activities they love after an injury. I also love getting to know people throughout their whole journey and being a helpful hand along the way.

Caroline - Physician Assistant

Hello, I’m Caroline – a physician assistant at Panorama Summit Orthopedics.  I have worked at Summit Ortho for 2 years this November!  I found a love for orthopedics during my general surgery rotation in PA school. Whenever things weren’t busy with the general surgery or vascular service, I could choose other surgeries to scrub into. I started helping in total knee and hip replacement cases and LOVED IT. I then pursued rotating in as much orthopedics as I could to gain more experience/exposure including sports medicine. I have always been an active athletic person and I love being a part of returning someone back to the active life they love and helping them through a challenging injury/period in life.

I LOVE to travel and miss it quite a bit. I was lucky enough to travel frequently during my childhood with my parents and then continued travelling as I grew up. I actually lived in Peru for 4 months during my senior year of college.  Summit County has always felt like a home away from home. I grew up 2 hours away from Breckenridge in Colorado Springs and spent many years retreating up to the snowy mountains or wild flower meadows and waterfalls for time with my family and time to be happy in nature. When the opportunity arose for me to live here full time, I couldn’t pass it up. I spent some time after graduating college in Denver, and I vividly recall feeling any time I escaped the city to Summit County I felt an immediate weight lifted off my shoulders. I love the way Summit County comes together as a community to support one another and share a common love for playing in our wonderful home state.

I do enjoy singing (mostly in the operating room or shower). I used to sing in choir as a kid but am pretty stage fright. I can also play some mediocre guitar and piano but I enjoy it!  I also enjoy many outdoor activities including hiking, trail running, fly fishing (new hobby!), both road and mountain biking, skiing, and camping.

Colin - Physical Therapist

My name is Colin. I am a physical therapist at Panorama Summit Orthopedics. I have been working here since December 2020. I love working in Summit County because of the active lifestyle and love having the opportunity to help people get back to the activities they love.

In my spare time I love skiing, mountain biking, and fly fishing. I grew up in rural Pennsylvania and graduated from Misericordia University with my DPT in 2018. I worked in a physical therapy clinic in Pennsylvania for a few years before moving to Summit County with my girlfriend Katie where I initially worked at the ski clinic in Breckenridge.

Kelley - Insurance Authorization Specialist

My name is Kelley. I am one of the Insurance Authorization Specialist here at Panorama Summit Orthopedics. I have been in Summit County for a short time but LOVE it here. I have two young ladies and a sweet rescue pup and we love to be outside as much as possible, riding bikes, skate boarding or just hiking.

I am blessed to be on such a great team here at Panorama. If you need ANYTHING we are here to help!

Lily - Clinical Liaison

Hi! My name is Lily and I am a clinical liaison here at Panorama, specifically working with Dr. Worrell. I just moved to Summit County from Michigan where I went to college (Go Blue!). I studied biology and medical anthropology, and I am currently applying to medical school. I am originally from the Houston, TX area and I grew up coming up to Summit in the winters. I am really excited to be here, to ski a ton in the winter and hike a ton in the summer! I love to travel, bake, and read!

Dawn - Patient Access Representative

Hello There, my name is Dawn and I have been in Summit County since 2017.  I was raised in Kokomo, Indiana and then moved to South Florida and lived there for 35 years then came here.  I wake up every morning thinking how lucky I am to live in the mountains!  When I am not here at our Panorama office in Frisco, I am out enjoying the outdoors of Summit County.  I am a mom to an awesome son Justin who I miss big time that lives in Florida and hopefully will someday move out here.  I also have the cutest dog in Summit County his name is Teddy has you can see in my pics.

I was a patient of Panorama this past summer and they took such good care of me I had to be part of their team! So here I am!

Avery – Durable Medical Equipment Specialist

Hello! My name is Avery and I recently moved to Summit County from Vermont. After living in VT for 9 years and previously NH, I decided I wanted to venture across the country for better skiing. I landed a job here at Panorama Summit Ortho managing the Durable Medical Equipment Program and have been loving it! I’m so excited to finally be out here and experience all that Summit has to offer. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2013 with an Athletic Training degree and after college, I moved to Vermont to work at the University of Vermont Medical Orthopedic Center. I also went to massage school on the side and have been practicing massage therapy for the past 8 years part-time with specialties in dry needling, cupping therapy and sports massage. After a couple career changes and some major injuries, I decided that helping others to recover and rehab from their injuries is what I am most passionate about. I enjoy expanding my knowledge and skills to help people to the best of my abilities and want to continue to do that here.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, skiing, xc skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, paddle boarding, biking, golfing, trying new restaurants and breweries and hanging with my 25lb orange cat, Ollie. I look forward to working with patients here, exploring Colorado and meeting new people. Stop by the Do More Store and say hi!

Kali – Clinical Liaison

Hi there! My name is Kali and I have been with Summit Panorama since December of 2022. I used to work down the front range as an ortho technician but moved up here this winter to start working full time as a ski patroller at Arapahoe Basin. I received my undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University and grew up on the Cape in Massachusetts.

I love being able to see patients through the entire process of feeling better coming from the mountain to clinic and post operatively. I have a pup named North at home. She is a 2-year-old Border collie who loves to come on backpacking trips with me. Geeter, the avalanche dog, who I work with at the Basin, is pictured with me.

Jennifer - Hand Therapist

I was born and raised in small town Illinois, and went to college in Indiana. I graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 1997 with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy, and completed the requirements for Certification in Hand Therapy in 2002. I have experience in treating hand trauma from employment at the Austin, Texas regional trauma center for the last 16 years.  Specifically, I have worked with hand and upper extremity trauma, ranging from replantations of fingers to cumulative trauma. I have treated post-op carpal tunnel, tendon and nerve repairs, fracture fixation with both internal and external hardware, and soft tissue injuries including burns, frostbite, and flaps/grafts for coverage of large wounds. I have managed injuries with casting, splinting, and wound care to include negative pressure therapy.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, traveling, and spending time with my husband and son either camping or watching sporting events. I am also an avid reader.

Wendy - Authorizations Specialist

Hi I’m Wendy! I am a remote Authorizations Specialist born and raised in Tennessee. When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my family. My husband Brad and I have been married for 19 years. We have 3 wonderful kids (Haley, Alex and Jillian), and 2 awesome grandsons (Ryder and Knox). I love swimming, reading, exercising, and gardening. I also have a newfound love for cruises.
